抹茶の日とは？

Established in 1992 by the Nishio City Tea Industry Promotion Council in Aichi Prefecture. The date was chosen to coincide with the Japanese word fu (2) ro (6), which is derived from furo, a tool used in the tea ceremony to boil water over a kettle. The aim is to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Nishio Tea and to expand sales channels.
