パート7のシングルパッセージ
私はTOEICを始めた頃からずっと、パート7のシングルパッセージに苦手意識がありました。
字が小さすぎるのはもちろん、文挿入問題もあったり、予算の込み入った話もあったりでややこしいからです。
パート7のシングルパッセージ、特にダブルパッセージの直前にある問題は、難易度が高い傾向があります。
それでも、目標スコア達成のためには避けては通れない。
可能な限り速く、正確に解答する方法を試してみましょう！
解き方としては、HUMMER式でいきます。
ハマー式とは、TOEIC満点講師でおなじみ濱崎潤之輔さんが推奨しているTOEICの解き方。
先に設問を読み、本文から正解のヒントを拾ってきて、その設問を解答するというものです。

シングルパッセージ、実践
シングルパッセージは記事問題と同様、設問1のヒントは一段落目、設問2のヒントは二段落目にあたりにあることが多いです。
また、最後の設問に文挿入問題がある場合もあります。
本文に空所が4箇所もあるのが気になるけど、まずは最初の設問で何が問われているのかを確認します。

暖炉の再形成は、元あった場所に同じように作れる！とありますね。

最後の段落が大きなヒント。
できるだけ早く予定を決めたほうがいいよ、と促す理由をこの文が説明してくれていますね。

優秀なトレーナーをみつけることが、最もあなたのためになるでしょう。

まとめ
メールの問題はほぼ必ず設問にも人名が絡んでくるので、まず誰から誰宛なのか把握し、そして件名も確認してから問題にとりかかっていきたいものです。
全文先読みも試してみて、やりやすい方を採用すると良いですね。
