花巻東高校とは、東北の岩手県花巻市にある私立高等学校です。
花巻東高校は、1956年に花巻商業高等学校として開校し、1982年に富士短期大学付属花巻高等学校と谷村学院高等学校の合併により現在の名前になりました。
花巻東高校は硬式野球部がめっぽう強いことで名が知られ、夏10回・春4回甲子園に出場しています！（2023年7月現在）
その中でも有名なポイントとして、菊池雄星選手や大谷翔平選手などのメジャーリーガーを輩出していますね。
また女子硬式野球部も2020年に創部し、全国大会で準優勝を果たしています。

Hanamaki-Higashi High School is a private high school in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture, north-eastern Japan.
Hanamaki-Higashi High School was founded in 1956 as Hanamaki Commercial High School and took its current name in 1982 following the merger of Hanamaki High School attached to Fuji Junior College and Tanimura Gakuin High School.

In the summer of his sophomore year, he recorded 150 km/h at Koshien, tying the record (at the time) for the fastest time by a second-year high school student.
